MELINDA ROEDER


Melinda Roeder represents the National Capital Chesapeake Bay Chapter.
She is a reporter with WBFF-TV in Baltimore, MD. Melinda has been in the business for more than a decade and worked as an anchor, reporter and producer. She's earned several honors including 7 Emmy Awards, 6 Edward R. Murrows and more than a dozen awards from the Associated
Press. In 2011, she was named "Best Reporter" by the Maryland Associated Press Broadcasters' Association.

Her career has taken her across the country. She's worked for television stations in Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Indiana, Kentucky and Maryland. Melinda was elected as a Trustee in 2011. She is proud to be associated with an organization with such a long history of
excellence in the industry.

Melinda is originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and remains an avid fan of the Steelers, Penguins and Pirates. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, cooking, photography and playing with her dog, Mickey.
