The awards ceremony will be held on Tuesday, December 4 (11:30 reception, 12:00 noon luncheon) at the Rainbow Room in New York City and will be sponsored by Citigroup, Inc. The Emmy Awards for Business & Financial Reporting recognize outstanding achievement in business & financial reporting telecast or webcast from July 1, 2006 thru June 30, 2007. Nominations in 7 categories were announced today. Also at the 5th Annual Emmy Awards for Business & Financial Reporting, Matthew Winkler, Editor-in-Chief of Bloomberg News, a global news service he founded in1990 with Michael Bloomberg, and a member of the Board of Directors of Bloomberg L.P., will receive this year’s Lifetime Achievement Award in Business & Financial Reporting.
