MICHAEL HARDGROVE
Michael Hardgrove is President Emeritus of KETC, the PBS television station serving the St. Louis market. He recently retired after 24 years as president and CEO of the station, during which the station became consistently among the five most watched PBS television stations in the country. KETC boasts the most popular local program in public television: DONNYBROOK, during which a “provocateur” exhorts four journalists to engage in “polite conversation” on the issues of the day. He first joined NATAS in 1962 as a member of the Washington, DC Chapter, and has received a number of Emmy Awards from the chapter. He currently serves a co-chairman of the National Membership Committee
